Welcome Year 11s!
In Term 4, Week 2 students submitted their Text Production. The aim of the task was to apply their knowledge and understanding of the novel Does My Head Look Big In This? by Randa Abdel-Fattah using a creative medium. Students had the choice of creating a music video, a novel trailer, a website or a podcast for various purposes and audiences. The task was undertaken with great enthusiasm and students should be very proud of what they have achieved. Well done, Year 11s!

Alex, Jeremiah and Anthony created a novel trailer to capture the key events of the text. The group acknowledges it is disrespectful for men to wear women's clothing; however, the video is strictly for educational purposes and no disrespect is intended.
Aryan, Bridgette and Nuer created a trailer for a website they created. They encountered some challenges when working with iWeb and their website could not be published as a result. However, they completed their trailer to a quality standard and captured key themes well. Well done, girls!
Ben, Bryton, Callum and Daniel created a song called Discrimination = Retaliation. They have used the song to convey the key themes of the text and have created their own lyrics in doing so. Well done to all involved!
Jason, Zoe, Nathan and Amanda created a trailer to the novel Does My Head Look Big In This?. Their trailer is intended to be humorous and is designed to show how movie adaptations can fail when compared to a novel. Their trailer is strictly for educational purposes and no disrespect is intended.
